FUTATSU FUROSHIKI WRAP
Futatsu Wrap
This pretty furoshiki wrap is perfect for wrapping awkwardly shaped gifts, or long boxes, or even bundles of clothes!
Step 1
Follow the diagram, picking up the top and bottom corner of your diamond-shape furoshiki.

Put the bottom point behind the top point, and stretch horizontally across the centre of your giftbox. It will look like this! (See right pic).
Step 2
There are now two straps of fabric to tie a double knot with on the left side. Gather one up in each hand, and tie a single knot, pulling out the ends vertically across the box, like this (see left pic).

Secure this knot with a second knot. The ends will fall diagonally.
Step 3
There are 2 straps of fabric on the right side of the giftbox. Gather these up, one in each hand, and tie a single knot, pulling the ends vertically across the box just like this (see pic on right).

Secure this knot with a second knot. The ends will fall diagonally.
Your Finished Wrap!
Your wrap will look like this, with two knots lying with their ends diagonally across your giftbox.
If there is any loose fabric under the knots, gather it up under them!

We love this wrap, and with this slinky Iris furoshiki, it looks extra special!

We love how the two knots fall diagonally!
