These beautiful papers are hand-printed with Japan's iconic symbol of summer - the dragonfly. This lovely design is printed onto 5 different colours of washi - peaches and orange, lilac, soft green, and soft yellow. The white ink tombo pattern stands out on the papers.
This pack of Large Kyoto Origami contains 25 square sheets - so that's 5 papers of 5 tombo designs.
We've long admired the beautiful washi papers of Kyoto company Shogado, and we are so happy to be able to offer them here in our Zusetsu store!
Shogado craftsmen are highly skilled at screen-printing by hand these beautiful washi paper products, using Echizen and Kurotani as materials.
The designs are inspired by Edo komon patterns, reimagined in a contemporary way.
