Rose Wrap

Introducing another wonderful furoshiki wrapping technique - the fabric twist and twirl!

Step 1

Follow the steps for the diagram above. It's the same method that we use for the Flower Wrap and the Bunny Ears Wrap.

You will have 2 long pieces of fabric which are securely tied at the base on top of the box with a double knot.

Step 2

Take one of the straps of fabric, and turn it round and round on itself, until it forms a shape like a little rosebud.

Tuck the end very gently into the base of the bud.

Step 3

Then turn the box around, and carefully wrap the second strap of fabric around your fingers, until it makes a second little rose shape.

Tuck the end carefully into the base.

Your Finished Wrap!

Take a look again at the double knot that you tied earlier. Check that the ends look like leaves by gently teasing out the bases.

It's a stunning furoshiki wrap, isn't it!
